Consul-General Dr Sun Zhaoyang Pays a Courtesy Call on Hon David Crisafulli, Premier of Queensland
On 16 September 2026, Consul-General Dr Sun Zhaoyang paid a courtesy call on Hon David Crisafulli, Premier of Queensland.
Dr Sun stated that China and Queensland should, on the basis of pragmatic and friendly cooperation, fully utilize the complementary resources and industries of both sides to expand cooperation in areas such as the Olympics, digital transformation, energy, advanced materials and tourism, and enhance exchanges in science and technology, education, and culture.
Hon David Crisafulli welcomed Dr SUN to his new post and expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions made by Chinese community and willingness to work with Chinese side to create new opportunities for Queensland-China cooperation.
